POTRERO, Calif. — CalFire has confirmed that a helicopter crashed at the end of Round Potrero Road near the U.S.-Mexico border Monday morning.
The fire agency also confirmed one person died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The fatal accident was reported shortly before 11:30 a.m. off Round Potrero Road, north of state Route 94 and south of Barrett Lake in Potrero, according to Cal Fire.
