SAN DIEGO — Have you noticed more expensive fast food prices around San Diego?
CBS 8 reporter Ariana Cohen checked out a few places to see their surprising prices and deals.
First, Cohen went to one of America's favorites, the Golden Arches, also known as McDonald's.
If you're looking for a fast breakfast, three hash browns and one Egg McMuffin cost $24 in comparison to four french toast sticks and a breakfast croissant deal at Wendy's for $6.45.
For lunch at McDonald's a Filet-O-Fish sandwich, 10-piece Chicken McNugget and small fries will cost you $14.84.
The Filet-O-Fish cost $4.99. In 2001, a Filet-O-Fish was only $2.09.
According to FastFoodPricesMenu.com, one of the more costly items at Wendy's is the Dave’s Hot and Juicy Triple with cheese combo for $8.09.
At Starbucks, one of the most expensive items is the Grande Evolution Fresh for $5.95 or a limited-time Toasted Graham Latte for $5.25.
While, one of the cheapest things you can get at Starbucks is freshly brewed coffee for $1.85.
Burger King’s Impossible Whopper is $7.29 and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich meal is $9.19.
At Chipotle, a chicken burrito costs $10.02.
