Liberty Station celebrates its centennial in 2023

Liberty Station closed out their year-long centennial celebration with a Halloween bash in Ingram Plaza Sunday emceed by CBS 8's Ariana Cohen.

SAN DIEGO — Liberty Station closed out their year-long centennial celebration with a Halloween bash in Ingram Plaza Sunday emceed by CBS 8's Ariana Cohen.

Hundreds of guests enjoyed special military areas, arts, crafts, food, beer and cocktail garden, activities and more.

Organizers also held a special time capsule presentation which included a USB of CBS 8's Jeff Zeveley's coverage of Liberty Station's Centennial, a package from Tom Crosby, notes from The Rock Church, and more. The time capsule was buried underground and will be reopened in 2048. 

A family-friendly costume contest was held for age groups 0-6 years old, 7-15 years old, 16 years old and up, military and pets. Winners received prizes and thanked the crowd.
