SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. — The family of a missing Camp Pendleton Marine is asking for the public’s help in finding their loved one after he was reported missing on Monday.
Military officials confirmed to CBS 8 that efforts are underway to locate U.S. Marine Bailey Cameron. According to Bailey’s family, he was last seen in Carlsbad leaving the Coyote Bar and was reported missing after he failed to arrive at work on Monday.
Bailey is described as 6’1’’, and weighs approximately 190 pounds.
A Camp Pendleton spokesperson told CBS 8 that notifications have been passed along to local police departments, hospitals, and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
CBS 8 spoke to Bailey’s mother who said family members will be flying to San Diego County this weekend from Washington State.
