SAN DIEGO — Californians are hitting the polls as Super Tuesday is underway. The day could potentially establish a clear front runner for the Democratic Party and shrink the candidate field. Close to eight million Latinos are eligible to participate in Tuesday’s primary and their vote is key. 

CBS News contributor Maria Elena Salinas joined Morning Extra from Washington D.C. with what issues are at the forefront within the Latino community. She also talked about how 2020 will be the first time the Latino electorate is the largest minority voting bloc.
