U.S. News and World Report studied a database of dog names from around the nation to find the most popular dog names in the 25 most populous U.S. cities. 

Here are the top three names in San Diego, according to U.S. News and World Report.

• Daisy was ranked the fourth most popular dog name overall, ranked in San Diego, Nashville, and San Antonio
• The three most popular dog names in San Diego, Daisy, Luna and Charlie, are ranked the five most popular dog names in the entire United States.
