SAN DIEGO — The presidential election is about 100 days away and the San Diego County Registrar of Voters is urging people to vote and reminding them how they can vote.
Nearly two million postcards were mailed out this week to registered voters.
"We're verifying their residence address that they're registered to vote at, as well as their mailing address," said Cynthia Paes with the Registrar of Voters. "Every election is critical and important."
She said her office wants people to check their voter registration to make sure everything is accurate and up to date.
It's still unclear what the presidential ticket will look like on the Democratic side. The Democratic National Convention kicks off August 19.
