SAN DIEGO, Calif — For car enthusiasts hoping to see the Artura supercar at the new McLaren exhibit or even test drive a Lucid on the streets of San Diego, the San Diego International Auto Show is the perfect place to be.
Considered one of the largest five-day auto shows in the country, and the second largest in California, the auto show returns to the San Diego Convention Center from Dec. 28 to Jan. 1.
Dates and Times
- Saturday, Dec 28: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec 29: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Monday, Dec 30: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Tuesday, Dec 31: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, Jan 1: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Which brands will participate in the 2025 International Auto Show?
Brands such as Acura, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Kia and others will be featured at the Exhibit Hall. Other vehicles including Dodge, Fiat, Jeep and RAM will be available for test drives. Three brands are participating in the auto show for the first time. McLaren will be featuring its supercar Artura, INEOS will display Grenadier and Lucid will have vehicles on display and be available for test drives.

Getting to the San Diego International Auto Show
Parking information:
Visitors will have an option to park either off-site or on-site at the San Diego Convention Center.
The daily rate for on-site parking is $25. By entering through Harbor Drive between 1st Avenue and 5th Avenue, visitors will be able to park at the convention center’s underground garage. Payment is due upon entry and visitors may also pre-purchase parking online from ACE Parking.
Off-site parking is also available at various lots and garages in Downtown San Diego. Prices vary by location, as lots and garages are individually owned and operated. Here is a list of off-site parking locations:
- Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel
- 6th & K Parkade garage: located across the street from the convention center and next to the Omni and Hard Rock hotels.
- Lexus Lot: located on Imperial Avenue and 12th Street
- Metered street parking: located in some areas throughout Downtown San Diego, parking meters are enforced Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The meters are usually free on Sundays and designated holidays.

Train and trolley information:
The North County Transit District offers regularly scheduled service through its Coaster train, from North County to Santa Fe Depot. The Santa Fe Depot is located a mile away from the San Diego Convention Center. The San Diego MTS trolley’s Green Line [https://www.sdmts.com/transit-services/trolley] route also stops twice in front of the Convention Center. Once at the center and another at the Gaslamp Quarter.
Hotel information:
The 2025 San Diego International Auto Show partnered with Omni Hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter, offering an auto show rate of $199 per night from Dec. 22 to Jan. 5. Due to limited availability, visitors are encouraged to book their rooms by Dec. 13.
