RAMONA, Calif. — San Diego County Sheriff deputies are investigating a homicide after a man is dead following a shooting in Ramona.
Deputies said they received a call shortly after 11:24 pm on December 5 reporting someone heard multiple gunshots near the intersection of SR-78 and Haverford Road in Ramona.
When they arrived, deputies found a vehicle with a man inside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Deputies on the scene attempted to provide medical aid, and paramedics transported the victim to a local area hospital. However, the man did not survive his injuries and died shortly after 12:15 a.m. on December 6.
The circumstances around this incident are under investigation.
No arrests have been made in this case and there is no subject description
