SAN DIEGO — A San Diego Police Department Officer is on administrative leave after he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.
Seth Tate, a San Diego Police Department officer assigned to Central Division, was arrested on Monday evening at 1900 Pacific Highway in Little Italy after officers conducted an investigation into reported domestic violence.
Tate was taken into custody booked into San Diego County Jail and charged with domestic violence.
San Diego Police Department Lt. Daniel Meyer said in a statement to CBS 8,
“The San Diego Police Department takes these kinds of incidents very seriously. The officer has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal and administrative investigation.”
According to SDPD, Tate has worked as a police officer for nearly three years.
