SAN DIEGO — Warning: The video featured in this story contains graphic content that could be disturbing.
Undercover video was released by law enforcement in Florida showing the arrest of a former Del Mar Union School District board member.
Scott Wooden was arrested on Feb. 11 during a prostitution sting operation conducted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Department.
It’s common knowledge that officers conduct these types of undercover operations. Earlier this week in San Diego, police arrested 48 people in a prostitution sting.
But rarely does the public see undercover videos, and airing the video may deter people who engage in this type of activity.
In the video, a female Polk County deputy is undercover, posing as a college student and sex worker. Her face is blurred.
The man she's with is Wooden, age 60, the former Del Mar school board member. Hidden cameras show the pair entering a hotel room in Polk County.
“What college do you go to?” Wooden asked.
“I go virtually to UT over in Texas. I'm studying education,” the undercover deputy responded.
The Polk County Sheriff released the video to CBS 8 this week, following Wooden's arrest on a misdemeanor charge of soliciting prostitution.
Wooden is accused of offering to pay the undercover officer $200 for unprotected sex.
“So, did you want to do the $50 for h**d? The $150 for everything? And $200 for no condom?” the woman asked.
“No condom,” Wooden can be heard responding.

Wooden resigned from the school board days after his arrest. He has pleaded not guilty.
He is married, with two children, according to an online biography.
“I don't know what his wife thinks about this. It might be a good time to watch social media or her local news station if she doesn't know about it. We'll provide it to them in Southern California,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd at a February 16 news conference announcing the sting operation.
“Toward the end of the police video, the undercover deputy tells Wooden she will grab a towel from the restroom. That's when uniformed Polk County deputies emerge from the bathroom and make the arrest.
Wooden can be heard yelling, “Oh no, no!”
The video then ends abruptly. A spokesperson for Polk County Sheriff said the video continues for several more minutes as Wooden is tackled to the bed and arrested.
CBS reached out to Wooden in San Diego and his defense attorney in Florida, but they did not respond to requests for comment.
In a deputy’s affidavit, Wooden is quoted as saying he “got caught doing something stupid.”
Wooden has a hearing scheduled in Polk County court on March 30.
