Bressi Ranch, Carlsbad
Bressi Ranch is a top spot for trick-or-treating if you're looking for crazy decorations. Tiny Beans said the houses are situated near each other, making trick-or-treating easy for young ones.
Santa Fe Hills, San Marcos
Homes go all out here when it comes to Halloween. Santa Fe Hills has been voted one of the top neighborhoods to trick-or-treat in San Diego County.

Encinitas
The 22nd Annual Safe Trick-or-Treat event is back! The event is hosted by the Encinitas 101 Main Street Association and will have plenty of Halloween-themed activities for some free family fun. A number of businesses will stay open late to welcome trick-or-treaters.
La Mesa
Trick-or-treat along La Mesa Blvd. and nearby streets at participating shops and restaurants. Enjoy free live entertainment and enter the Howl-o-Ween pet costume contest at the fifth annual La Mesa Village Halloween.
