SAN DIEGO — A one-acre brush fire that broke out Friday in Torrey Pines State Park in La Jolla has been stopped.
Units were dispatched around 2:30 p.m. Friday to reports of a fire at 12600 County Highway S21, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
A total of 51 personnel were assigned to the fire, including one police agency, four brush rigs and four engines, officials said.
No injuries were immediately reported. No buildings were threatened, and the site was evacuated with the help of park rangers.
The cause of the fire was unknown. Officials advised using caution in the area.
The cities of Poway and Encinitas assisted in the effort.

- Pet food & water
Always have sturdy shoes and a flashlight near your bed, ready for sudden night evacuations.
If time allows, consider adding:
- Valuables that are easy to carry
- Family photos and irreplaceable items
- Personal computer data on hard drives and disks
- Chargers for cell phones and laptops
