SAN DIEGO — A 24-year-old woman went on a crime spree in San Diego and National City Saturday afternoon.

Taliah Hooker arrested by San Diego Police and is facing one count of attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of attempted kidnapping and one count of felony vandalism.

Incident one

According to San Diego Police, the spree started around 1:50 p.m. when Hooker assaulted a traffic controller in the Southcrest neighborhood on the corner of Una Street and Acacia Street.

Police said Hooker was vocal and upset as law enforcement was assisting with flood disaster relief and was driving nearby. The traffic controller attempted to get Hooker to continue driving through the area, but the suspect got out of her vehicle and pushed the traffic controller.

The traffic controller tried to radio for help. Hooker then grabbed the radio and hit the traffic controller with it. The traffic controller was able to call for help, but Hooker got back in her car and fled the scene.

Incident two

Shortly after, National City Police received a call that a 21-year-old woman was approached by Hooker.

National City Police said Hooker attempted to recruit the victim for prostitution and told her to get into the car she was driving.

The victim ran into the Cumming Chevrolet dealership where she works but was followed by Hooker. She then grabbed the victim and threw her violently against a metal wall before fleeing, according to National City Police.

Incident three

Hooker got into a road rage incident that started in National City and ended in Logan Heights on the 3200 block of Newton Avenue, according to San Diego Police.

Officials said she vandalized someone's vehicle, but there were no injuries.

Incident four

According to San Diego Police, another incident with Hooker occurred within California Highway Patrol's jurisdiction.

CBS 8 made multiple attempts to contact but did not receive a reply before deadline.

Final incident

Around 4:00 p.m., Hooker drove to a residence in Bayview Mobile Home Park, where she slammed her car into a second car with someone inside.

Officials said Hooker and the victim do know each other, but it is unclear what the relationship is at this time.

After Hooker hit the car, she then drove toward a pedestrian and hit him with her car. She crashed into a fence and San Diego Police then took her into custody.

Hooker is expected to be arraigned January 31.
