Man arrested after road rage incident

A man is in jail Sunday accused of threatening a motorcyclist during an apparent road rage incident.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A man is in jail Sunday accused of threatening a motorcyclist during an apparent road rage incident.

The driver was arrested late Sunday morning on Interstate 5, just south of the 52.

Police say the incident started at the intersection of 8th Ave. and F St. in downtown.

A man on a motorcycle told police the driver of a Chrysler Crossfire waved a gun at him and threatened to kill him before following him for several blocks.

Police found a replica gun, similar to a BB gun, inside the suspect's car. He is a 24-year-old man who told police he's in the Navy.

His name has not been released.
