SAN DIEGO — Mindfulness is defined in its simplest terms as being aware of your present moment. Why is this so much easier said than done?

The act of mindfulness has been proven to do many things including easing pain in the body!

Dr. Fadel Zeidan is a neuroscientist from UCSD who embarked on a study that ultimately showed that mindful individuals are seemingly less caught up in the experience of pain, which was associated with lower pain reports.

Dr. Zeidan will be holding a unique all-day workshop that will talk about the neuroscience of mindfulness-based meditation.
