SAN MARCOS (CBS 8) - Hundreds of current and former law enforcement officers revved their engines Saturday for an officer down memorial motorcycle rally in San Marcos.
The proceeds of this year's event will benefit the children of CHP officer Kenyon Youngstrom.
He was killed during a traffic stop in Walnut Creek last September.
The Officer Down Memorial Fund was created by the Palomar College Police Academy back in 2005 as a way to teach recruits about the law enforcement family.
