SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A three-month-old fennec fox is full of energy and ready to play at the San Diego Zoo.
The male, who weighs just one-and-a-half pounds, will eventually serve as an animal ambassador for his species. But for now, guests visiting the zoo can see the little guy in the children's zoo nursery. Zoo staff keep him busy with lots of toys and food puzzles.
The fennec fox weighs about three pounds when full grown, making it the smallest fox in the world.
