SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Rescuers were back out Saturday searching for a whale entangled in line off the San Diego coast.
The young fin whale was first spotted Friday afternoon by a whale watching vessel about two miles off Dana Point.
A special rescue team, including members from SeaWorld, were deployed to the area, but they were unable to get close enough to cut the line.
The whale was last seen moving south off Camp Pendleton around 9:00 p.m. Friday.
