The addition brings the total of summer session offerings at San Diego City College, San Diego Mesa College and San Diego Miramar College back to pre-recession levels, according to the SDCCD.
"After years of budget cuts, the district is pleased to be able to restore our summer session to where it was before state budget cuts," said SDCCD Chancellor Constance Carroll.
"Our students rely on summer classes to accelerate progress toward graduation and/or transfer," Carroll said. "Many university students also attend our colleges over summer to enroll in classes they need for their bachelor's degree. In either case, the result is increased student access."
The improving financial picture at the district allowed a comprehensive schedule of summer classes last year for the first time since 2009.
The district said priority registration will begin May 11 for current students, active military and veterans, foster youth and some others. Open registration starts May 26, with a fee of $46 per unit.
Classes will be run along four tracks, with starting dates of June 1, June 8, June 15, and July 6, according to the district.
