SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The Humane Society is helping hundreds of animals find homes for the holidays by waiving all adoptions fees for all pets thanks to a generous donor.
From an active dog like seven-year-old American pit bull terrier Augustina, to Tame bunny Rabbits - there is pet for every person.
"Any animal you can adopt, we're waiving the adoption fee thanks to generous donors Sharon Blanchet and Phil and Pam Reed Who are covering the cost of adoption fees to get animals in homes this holiday season."
Adoptions fees typically range from $25 to $125 for puppies.
"We have about 900 animals available for adoption looking for Homes right now. There are plenty to go around dogs, cat puppies, rabbits, guinea pigs."
No appointments are necessary. Anyone can visit their nearest San Diego Humane Society, meet with an adoption counselor and walk away with their newest family member.
The San Diego Humane Society is open from 10 a.m., to 6 p.m., daily.
Pet adoptions fees will be waived until Christmas Eve.
