SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Chopper 8 spotted leopard sharks swimming at La Jolla Shores Tuesday.
Leopard sharks are commonly spotted in or just beyond the surf zone.
They're usually most active at night and are quick to swim away from humans, so Tuesday's activity was a real treat for the paddle boarders and kayakers lucky enough to be there.
The sharks pose no danger to humans.
