SAN DIEGO — A man was taken to the hospital Sunday after being hit by a car while riding an electric scooter in Pacific Beach, according to San Diego police.
The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. at the corner of Mission Boulevard and Hornblend Street where a man in his 60s was riding a scooter when he was hit. The man was taken to an area hospital.
Witnesses reported seeing the man bleeding from a head injury following the accident. Officials on Sunday afternoon said the injuries sustained were minor.
