SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Testimony continues Thursday in the wrongful termination lawsuit against San Diego State by former women's basketball coach Beth Burns.
Burns claims she was fired in retaliation for demanding equal treatment of female athletes. She testified about the challenges of getting her program off the ground.
Burns told the jury the women's team didn't even have basic recruitment tools.
"What I was finding were people weren't understanding what and why i was making all these requests," Burns said.
The school claims Burns was fired because she hit an assistant coach.
Burns is expected to be cross-examined Thursday.
