SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - This is the best time of year to spot leopard sharks off the coast of La Jolla.
Thousands of the sharks swim to the warmer waters to mate and care for their babies.
Everyday California offers guided tours on kayaks, stand up paddle boards or even just snorkeling.
Children as young as 5-years-old, who can swim, can go on the tours.
