CARLSBAD (CNS) - A woman and two men -- one of whom had felony warrants -- were arrested for allegedly breaking into a vehicle in a coastal Carlsbad neighborhood early Saturday.
Someone reported the theft from a vehicle parked at 7545 Navigator Circle shortly before 3 a.m., and officers arrived as the suspects were attempting to drive away, Carlsbad police Sgt. Darbie Ernst said.
Officers stopped the suspects -- Oceanside residents Cesar Hernandez, 26, and Angelita Cruz, 36, and 48-year-old Steven Cannon of Vista -- and allegedly found stolen property, according to the sergeant.
All three were arrested on suspicion of grand theft, possession of stolen property and conspiracy to commit a crime. Cannon was expected to additional face charges stemming from felony drug and vehicle theft warrants, Ernst said.
