SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – Friends and family are mourning the loss of a 2008 UCSD graduate killed in the Haiti earthquake.
Ryan Kloos, 24, was in Haiti visiting his sister Erin, who has been living there as a volunteer in an orphanage.
The two were staying at the seven-story Father Wasson Center in Port-Au-Prince when the quake struck Tuesday.
Ryan Kloos was killed in the by the falling rubble.
Erin Kloos was pulled to safety and flown out of Haiti.
She is in stable condition at a Florida hospital.
