Unclaimed winning lotto ticket worth $195,000 expires Monday

Monday is the deadline for a lottery winner to claim almost $200,000 or their prize will expire.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Monday is the deadline for a lottery winner to claim almost $200,000 or their prize will expire.

A winning ticket was bought at the Lake Side Shell gas station in El Cajon sometime between October and December of 2010.  The ticket is worth more than $195,000.

Lottery officials say this wouldn't be the first time a San Diego lottery winner failed to come forward.

In 1999, $4 million dollars went unclaimed and was eventually turned over to the California public school system instead.

The winning numbers from the December 21, 2010 drawing were 8, 32, 31, 11, 12 with the Mega Number 29.
