SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - 'Tis the season for giving and from now until December 24th here's your chance to help our military and their families.
Join CBS News 8 and Coleman University and please donate an unwrapped toy or gift card to the USO San Diego Holiday Giving Tree.
The drive runs through December 24th.
Donations will benefit USO SD programs this holiday like the Santa Store, holiday dinners and also support year-round USO programs, such as the Neil Ash Airport Center, Tuesday evening dinners and homecomings.
Anyone who makes a donation of $100 or more will receive a commemorative USO SD ornament.
USO San Diego is here for every branch of the military and their families like Nate Richards' family. His dad and two brothers are deployed and won't be home for Christmas.
Donations can be dropped off at the USO Holiday Giving Tree -- at Headquarters at Seaport District or you can make a donation online at cbs8.com/usosd.
