SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - The holidays are a time for family and for celebrating traditions. On Saturday December 1, you can learn all about Mexican traditions from the women of Chicanista Boutique at their tamale workshop!
On Saturday at noon at Dolores Magdaleno Memorial Park Rec Center you can receive step by step instructions on how to make tamales. At the workshop you can also munch on snacks while playing a few games of loteria.
Tickets for the event are still available for $40 per person and they include step by step instruction and a half dozen tamales to take home to your family!
