SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Alex Jackson is a catcher at Rancho Bernardo and considered by some as the number one high school junior recruit in the nation, but he's not the only Bronco with his own baseball card.
"I never thought I would have a baseball card. It's a great feeling," he said.
"I thought it came out pretty good, looked at Jackson's, it was pretty good. Look at the two side by side, its fun to compare," second baseman Gosuke Katoh said.
Kyle Dean, a sophomore at Poway, also has a card. They were made when the guys played in various all star games last year.
"I'm very honored. It's pretty neat, but I gotta get back to playing baseball," Kyle said.
All of the cards have popped up on eBay. The biggest discussion amongst the players isn't whose card is fetching the highest price. It's who looks best on their card.
"I personally think me," Alex said.
"I think definitely me, but we'll have to let the ladies decide that," Gosuke said.
"I'll just let the girls decide that. They can say what they want. The girls get the last say," Kyle said.
That they do, which makes these guys more than just baseball prospects.
