LAS VEGAS — Are you ready for the big game? You can watch Super Bowl LVIII LIVE locally in San Diego on CBS 8 starting at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 11.

Legendary world-class music artist Tiësto has been named as the first in-game DJ for Super Bowl LVIII.

The NFL announced on Thursday that the Grammy award-winning EDM icon will perform prior to Super Bowl LVIII on February 11 as players warm up and continue to perform during the big game and during featured breaks.

"I'm excited to be a part of the Super Bowl LVIII!," said Tiësto. "And it's even more incredible that it's in my favorite place -- Las Vegas. Thank you to the NFL for having me. I cannot wait to party with you all at the big game!"

The internationally acclaimed DJ will bring his beloved beats to tens of thousands of fans at Allegiant Stadium on the Las Vegas strip and Superbowl LVIII viewers around the world.

"Each year, we look to elevate the in-stadium experience for our fans, and with our first Super Bowl in Las Vegas, it seems only fitting to embrace the legacy of iconic DJs in this city by having Tiesto bring his signature style to our biggest event," said Tim Tubito, director of event presentation and content at the NFL.

The NFL said portions of Tiësto’s performances will be featured during the Super Bowl LVIII broadcast live on CBS and live-streamed on Tiësto’s social media channels.

"As one of the most influential DJ/producers who helped define the culture of Las Vegas and electronic music around the world, Tiësto is the perfect artist to help us create an unforgettable gameday experience for our fans, players and viewers everywhere."

When Tiësto takes the stage on Feb. 11, it will mark the fifth year since the NFL began including major DJs during player warmups. The tradition first started at Super Bowl LIV in Miami.
