VALLEY CENTER, Calif. — Did you feel it?
People all across San Diego County reported feeling an earthquake Sunday morning. USGS reported a 4.0 magnitude earthquake near the Palomar Observatory at 9:46 a.m. after initially reporting it at a 4.1 magnitude.
The epicenter was located 2.9 miles from the Palomar Observatory, 17.7 miles from Escondido and 25.6 miles from Oceanside.
Residents across San Diego County from Escondido, Oceanside, Chula Vista and elsewhere are posting on social media that they felt the shake.
The quake was measured at 13.7 miles in depth, the USGS said.
Escondido police and fire officials said there were no immediate reports of any damage.
