SAN DIEGO — San Diego lifeguards rescued drivers from flooding waters in Grantville after their cars became stuck during the storm Thursday morning.
San Diego Fire-Rescue teams responded to a call just after 6 a.m. after two cars became stuck in the 4600 block of Mission Gorge Place.
Two drivers drove by the “flooded road” warning signs and became stuck in the flooding waters. A good Samaritan drove his truck into the water and rescued one driver, according to police.
When lifeguards arrived, they were able to pull three men in a white car from the flooding waters.
No injuries were reported.
