SAN DIEGO — Summer is fast approaching, but you wouldn't know it if you're up in the San Diego-area mountains.
It's a rare sight for the month of May, but Mount Laguna saw some snowfall late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Up to about an inch of snow dusted the mountains.
Another Pacific storm is expected to arrive by the upcoming weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
News 8’s Chris Gros took a road trip to the mountains to give us a look.
